This tool only counts days. It doesn't file a claim or decide whether you qualify for BDD. Use the separation date on your orders and re-check VA.gov before you file. BDD generally requires filing 180 to 90 days before separation, a completed Separation Health Assessment Part A, service treatment records (VA requests them for you if you file online), and availability for VA exams within 45 days of filing.
